Have you tried various diets, only to wind up more confused and frustrated than before? Do you feel like thoughts about food take up a lot of your mental real estate? Do you see foods as good or bad - or perhaps just think there are foods you “shouldn’t eat”? Does it ever feel like you’ll have to struggle with food forever?
I’ve been there too. I started dieting at age 14, and spent over a decade hopping from one diet to the next. I tried everything from paleo, macro-counting and fasting - I even did competitive bodybuilding and struggled with bulimia. The harder I chased a certain body though, the more tired, anxious and unhappy I became.
In those days, I truly believed I would be in a life-long battle with food and my body. Thankfully I found Intuitive Eating and learned I could have total food freedom. I’d LOVE to help you achieve that too!
The Feel Good Approach
If you answered yes to some or all of the above questions, you are in the right place. Every individual is unique and has special needs, desires and goals. What we all have in common though, is that at the root of each and every goal, is the desire to feel better. The only reason we ever want anything (a new job, new relationship or more money) is because we believe we will feel better in the having of it.
In the world of nutrition, the goal I hear most often is weight loss in an effort to "be healthy" or to "feel better". Most people want to lose weight though because of what they associate with weight loss (more energy, happiness, confidence etc.). But intentional weight loss diets don’t work. They actually set us up for future weight gain and weight cycling which is really bad for our health.
The "Feel Good Approach" takes the focus off weight and instead places our attention on health promoting behavior changes, improving body image and healing our relationship with food using the Intuitive Eating framework. We focus on more important measures of health such as sleep, energy, digestion, self-care and mood!
1-on-1 Virtual
Intuitive Eating Coaching
My 5-month Intuitive Eating Coaching program is right for you if you’re ready to make peace with food, lose the guilt around eating, improve your energy and digestion, reduce your stress and establish an eating style that fuels your body and feeds your soul. We’ll start off with a 60 minute initial consultation where we will discuss your history, lifestyle, goals and more. From there, we will meet every two weeks via Zoom over the course of 5 months. Together, we’ll explore the ten principles of Intuitive Eating and break down the framework into bite-sized pieces. Throughout this process you will explore and break down self-limiting beliefs, cultivate trust and respect for your body, and find a style of eating that not only promotes health, but is actually enjoyable and sustainable for the rest of your life. Tiered-level packages are available for various budgets/levels of support.

FAQ’s:
1) Do you accept insurance?
In an effort to give my clients all of my time and energy, I do not accept insurance. However you can use a HSA/FSA card and I can provide you with a superbill (medical receipt) that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be able to be reimbursed a percentage of the fee for our services. Please contact your insurance company directly to determine whether you will get reimbursement. The following questions may help you determine eligibility:
Do I have out-of-network benefits to see a registered dietitian for the following CPT codes: initial session 97802, follow-up sessions 97803
If yes, what amount of the fee will you cover?
Is pre-authorization required in order to submit an out-of-network claim?
What is the deductible, and how much of the deductible have I met?
2) Who do you work with?
I only work with highly committed individuals (adults 18+). My program requires a time commitment from both parties and is only recommended for those who are ready to make a change TODAY. I do not work with individuals with active eating disorders.
3) Do you have a cancellation policy?
In order to maintain a functioning schedule, I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Clients are packaged based so sessions not cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours will be considered “attended”.
