You might not know this about me, but I used to be a competitive bodybuilder that struggled with bulimia (along with other eating disorders over the years). During that time, food and exercise ruled my life. A few bites of food off my meal plan was enough to send me into a spiral. I said “no” to so many events and experiences and really missed out on a lot.
Perhaps you’ve been in a similar place….where food guilt and body shame has held you back from experiencing the wonderful things this world has to offer?
Well it’s time to stop saying “no”. It’s time to live this one and only life we’re given! I started hosting my Food Freedom Retreats as a way to celebrate the growth we’ve all done - to challenge our inner demons and to stop holding ourselves back because of the fear of calories how our bodies looks. These trips have become a special way to connect with other people that “get it”. Like-minded women that want to bond over real conversations rather than diet talk.
They’ve become a special way to celebrate and say “yes” to life.
